Where are the BSL Level 1 courses held?
Our BSL Level 1 courses in Slough and Andover are held face-to-face at Slough Deaf Centre, Windmill Road Slough Berkshire SL1 3SU and Andover Community Church, Charlton Road, Andover, SP10 3JH. This gives learners the benefit of in-person teaching, practical support and direct interaction throughout the course.
What British Sign Language course do you offer?
We currently offer a Signature accredited BSL Level 1 course in Slough. It is designed for beginners who want to build confidence in British Sign Language and develop practical communication skills in a supportive setting.
Are the BSL classes face-to-face or online?
All of our BSL classes in Slough are delivered face-to-face at Slough Deaf Centre and Andover Community Church. We believe in-person learning gives students a better experience, with more opportunity for interaction, practice and feedback.

How long is the BSL Level 1 course?
The BSL Level 1 course runs for 30 weeks. This gives learners time to build a strong foundation in British Sign Language and progress through the course with confidence.
What times are available for the BSL Level 1 course?
We currently offer two Level 1 BSL course options in Slough on Fridays 10:00am to 12:00pm and 2:00pm to 4:00pm and in Andover on Wednesday evenings from 6 - 8pm. You can choose the time that best suits your schedule when making your enquiry.

Yes, BSL Level 1 is ideal for beginners. It is a great starting point if you are new to British Sign Language and want to learn everyday signs, fingerspelling and simple conversations.
